Health and Well-being

We want to make mental and physical health tools accessible and fun for anyone.

Walking outdoors rewards you with progress, and story moments built around gratitude, affirmations and breathing promote mindfulness.

Walking is how you play

Your character moves on the map as you move in real life, and foraging pays more the farther you travel while the timer runs. There is no step goal to hit. You get a little further each time you head out.

If you cannot get outside, a recharging meter called astral essence lets you move on the map without walking, so a bad day never locks you out.

Moments of gratitude

Some of the story events on the map ask you to stop and think about the people and gifts you are thankful for. In one, a heavenly voice tells you that it is rare to be thanked by someone who expects nothing back. In another, it simply says: you are worthy of love.

Breathing and quiet

There is a guided breathing moment: breathe in for four seconds, hold for four, release over four, and wait before the next breath. Finishing it earns you a card. Other events set you in a meditation tent, where you can choose affirmations or quiet.

These are still no substitute for getting real medical mental or physical health support from a professional.
